A student, With disabilites, but not defined by my disabilities

My name is Thabang. I was involved in a major motor vehicle accident at the end of my first university year 2016, which left me in ICU for a few weeks. At the time I just successfully completed my first at university, studying towards a Bcom in Investment management. I sustained major head and brain injuries, as well as lower and upper body injuries. My medical team arrived at the conclusion that this accident, has ended my academic endeavors due to the severity of my head injuries. However, I defied the odds, and continued my pursuit for academic success and to make myself a better person. Along the Journey I have experienced major symptoms of post traumatic stress disorders and learnt to live with the other disabling effects of my traumatic accident. My courage and dedication has paid off, despite having limited resources, and other co-morbidities, as I am now in the final year of my tertiary studies. I am supported by a single Mum who has limited resources. I was, however fortunate to be financially assisted by a bursary program for the past two years. Unfortunately for the 2020 academic year I haven't been granted any financial assistance. Pre-Covid 19 I have been pulling whatever resources I could with the help of My Mum, but we have reached our limits, as she unable to assist anymore due to her own circumstances. My request is for any form of assistance to help me complete the 2020 academic year and obtain my degree.
