A few days separate us from the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
In my country, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), a worship service of thanksgiving is held at the end of each year. The family thanks God for the benefits, the protection and the security that God has offered to the whole family; as well as the spiritual preparation for the new year in blessing.
So this young Quaker would also like to live this good time with his family. He is currently in Burundi, the capital of Burundi, where he studies at university but his family is in Bukavu in the DRC. But he does not have the $200 needed for a return journey home by bus.
Can someone donate this as a Christmas present?
There is more happiness in giving than in receiving.
God bless you.
