A Social Media Start Up

We're a team of 4 individuals (comprising of 2 students and 2 out of college millennials).

We've been developing a social media platform for the past 4 months - mostly the development phase of the project. We have recently filed for the company registration.

We've been operating on a shoestring budget in recent weeks. We've been cutting costs at every avenue possible in order to make the project very low risk with a high potential for success.

The proceeds will be used to - host the website on servers (we project large traffic volumes)

- shared office space

- scaling the start up beyond South Africa

- remunerating of future employees (between 6 - 15 within the first 2 years)

- marketing campaigns (mainly through other social media platforms - aimed toward our target market).

We aim to have 200 million active users in 7 years.

We have managed to raise R13 000 ($960) from our parents over the past weeks - expanding our product requires further capital however.

We currently can't give away too much information about the project, for risk of the theft if intellectual property, however, we will constantly update our campaign as we progress.

We aim to launch within 6 weeks (from 19 April 2017)
