A Smile for Carmi

It is a year after I had four temporary crowns placed in my mouth, and it is time to replace them with permanent ones. My parent cannot afford to pay for them at the moment, because the have a lot of other financial responsibilities at the moment. But I simply cannot avoid the fact that at any moment, the temporary crowns may fail me and the emergency trips to the dentist would be a lot more out of the pocket than what is anticipated.

Who am I?

I am a first year medical student, studying is Pretoria. I was in matric last year and I ended the year as top of my class.

Why do I need other people's help?

My older brother and I are currently enrolled in university, and our younger brother will soon be going as well. This is already paid for by means of loans, so we have all this interest pilling up. Also, my grandpa recently had to move in with us after some big family situation. He isn't working so my parent have to provide for him. Then there's also the two trips to the casualty for my brother and I, and our medical aid did not pay for it. (It was nothing too serious)

And that is why I really don't want to ask my parents for this huge amount of money for my teeth.
