My name is Ludmila Soldatova. I’m a journalist from a provincial city in Russia. I really want to launch a project that will teach a child to be successful in life. My mission as a proverb says is to teach youngsters to catch a fish and feed them for a lifetime. Please bring to mind a child of today, a boy or girl who is eight, nine, or 10 years old. Play their life forward 20 years. It will be the year 2036. That child will be about 30 years old, making his or her way in a job somewhere. But what sort of job? And how to prepare that child for the future?

The project focuses on the skills they don’t teach them in school. However, these skills a child needs to succeed. Kids play and learn new profession. There are more than 20 workshops and labs – at the baker’s, at the police station, rescue rangers, at the hospital, at the hotel, on the farm and others - that create skill-building atmosphere and help prepare kids for potential occupations.

This is not a paid performance – I’m driven by desire!

It’s challenging, I know. I'm starting this campaign to help cover all of the expenses of the production. The funds are needed to cover the venue site and travel expenses, visual aids, printing supplies and other necessities. My goal is $10,000. This money allows me to launch the project and make my plan come true, as well as inspire other parents participate in it.
