A Single Mom’s Daring Journey Back to School

Iam so excited for this next adventure in our lives. Who are we? Well, we are myself and my son. Everything I do is for him. I am his provider. I am his supporter. I am his mama. I am his friend. I am his model. I am his first. And he is mine. Every step I take has to be intentional. So I have made the intentional decision to go back to school to receive my degree in Dental Hygiene. I have been in the dental field for over 12 years. First, I was a dental assistant, and then I earned my way up to a dental coordinator position of a wonderful company. I love the industry. I have learned so much about the importance of dental hygiene for overall health, and I want to continue to educate others, including you. In order to reach my goal of becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist, I have to do the unthinkable...quit my full time job. This is an intense 2 year 3 month program that requires as much time as I can give it while at the same time still providing for my son. So my goal is to continue to apply for positions where I can work from home. I am also a great vegan baker. So I will hold as many fundraising baking events as I need to. I am determined to succeed! I CAN! I MUST! I WILL! Thanks so much for all of your support. I will make all of you proud.
