Support Ace medical journey !

Lea is my nanny, but even more so she has been family for 2 years. Like many of us, lea is also a daughter, a sister and an aunt. We learned recently that her closest sister and best friend gave premature birth to her nephew Ace at 7 months of pregnancy and with many medical complications. It broke our family’s hearts to see pics of baby Ace who will undergo surgery for numerous birth anomalies in the hopes of surviving and living a life as normal as possible.

In the Philippines, only private hospitals can perform these kind of critical and laborious neonatal operations. Without financial assistance, many families including Ace’s parents will not be to afford the cost of travel, food and physican fees to make this happen. This Christmas we made a family decision to reallocate the money we would’ve spent on our children’s toys to create a medical fund for Ace. Speaking honestly my daughters weren’t exceptionally keen but with this small gesture I hope that one day they’ll understand the greater responsibility and value of helping our community. Today we are reaching out to others who can and are able to join us in supporting aces medical journey. With every small dollar we can make this Christmas more bearable during this emotional time for Ace’s family.
