Campaign Story
Hello, we have set this account up concerning our cousin and brother, Cornelious Golston, who has been incarcerated in Louisiana for 17 years since around the age of 21. He is incarcerated for armed robbery and simple burglary. He received an excessive 50+ year sentence with a release date of March 28, 2058. He had been arrested only once before for car burglary. During his court proceedings he was offered 20 years by prosecutors in which he didn't accept at the advice of attorneys and later went to trial and was given 50+years. His mom, his sister an aunt and uncle has passed away since he's been incarcerated. He has 1 son, that was born shortly before his incarceration, that he hasn't seen since that time. He understands his crime and takes full responsibility. He is more than remorseful for what he did. He was young and not on the right path in life. He would forever appreciate a second chance at freedom. We know he will probably die in prison as well as many of his relatives that he knew before he's released. We are asking for help with donations to hire an attorney who has stated they can help get his sentence reduced, so that he can have a chance at life again and be with his family. He is located at a facility in Louisiana in Avoyelles Parish. We pray to find help with a reduction of his sentence. Thank You, for your support. The Family
