I have found my soulmate. We have been together for a few years now. Life has thrown many challenges our way. The main mistake we made was not asking for help. Just by trying to survive as a young couple we have collected a debt of €3000 that we have been struggling with and trying to cover for about two years. My boyfriend, who's only a few years older than me had to leave high school to start working full-time. I had to do it as well for a while, 'till I finally asked my parents for help to at least cover my studying expenses. They were kind enough to offer me my old room in their small apartment as well. It's been years and it doesn't seem like the debt is getting any smaller. It's been hard to cover it during COVID-19 as well due to fewer job possibilities available and fewer shifts available at work. We also want to have our own place to call home, but we can't. We don't want to be a burden to our families when they are already struggling themselves. I humbly ask you to help us have a life, a family, a place to call our home.
