A Place to call home

Hello, 

My name is Tilliandra and I'm a wife, mother and a student. Lately I've been volunteering, mentoring and attending various events for less fortunate children. While interacting with a few agencies I learned that their are an abundance of  children that doesn't have a safe haven. My goal is to raise funds to help open a group home for children that are placed in the custody of The Department of Children and Families. These children have been taken from their homes due to abuse, abandonment or neglect. They are in need of a safe and warming environment while waiting to be permanently placed. Unfortunately some never leave DCF's custody. Funds will help with home/facility, furniture and personal items.We are also accepting gently used clothes,  books, toys or anything that will benefit them. Please help a profound impact on a childs life. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
