A place of our own

Hi, My name is Enzo Zonta.

I’m 27 years old and my girlfriend Jazmin is 25.
The story I’m going to tell you, it’s a bit big, so please stick with me.

First of all, I’ll need to give you some context:
My father owns a successful medical equipment company. He always wanted his family to take care ofit, just as he does.

Since I was 9 years old, he taught me to work for him, so I always felt like that was my destiny. Until 2012 he and my mom divorced, so I didn’t see him very often. And I had to rent a condo, since my motherwas not ok (mentally) and I haven’t seen her since then.

In 2015 I moved to Panama City to work for him and learn how to run his business, which led me in 2016 to Dominican Republic, where I took charge of the company.

I met Jazmin in 2016, since I returned to Costa Rica to visit my friends once or twice every 2/3 months. Needless to say, we fell in deep love.

I was ready to spent my life with her since then, so I took her with me in late 2017 to Dominican Republic. To work in my family’s business.

Things turned upside down when my father decided it was time for me to know “How real business were made”; this included hookers and A LOT of corruption. I’ve always been a correct person and I really want to keep myself out of these sort of things.

So, naturally, I refused to keep down that road. My father lost his mind when I told him he couldn’t count me in for his dirty business. I had to stand my ground.

After 2 weeks of intense fights and arguments, I decided to quit. I rather have a tough life, than living adevil’s game.

This led him to put all my family against me, telling everyone I was a liar and that Jazmin brainwashed me. And this hurt me bad.

The day I left his company, he told me this, his very last words to me: “I hope you eat shit for the rest ofyour life”.

As you can Imagine I was destroyed, and Jazmin and I came back to Costa Rica with no place to stay. So we slept in my Mother-in-law’s floor with an air mattress for 2 weeks, until we could rent a condo.

Since then, Jaz & me have worked hard to buy our own place with no help from our families. And this is just one step closer to my life goal of having a family with her, to be an entrepreneur and provide for my family.

If we can get this house, Jaz could go for her higherdegree and I could not only give her a ring to propose, but also, give her a nice wedding, and in the future, I could invest in our own business.

We are good, and I believe I stood up for the good reasons. I know I don’t deserve being kicked out of my family because I didn’t want to do bad in this world, but to do the right thing.

So, please help us achieve this place for us, so we can have something ours and prove that good things happen to good people!
