Like any family, ours was built on a foundation of love...My husband and I have dreamed of nothing but bright skies and sunny days for our adorable children. Sadly, life is not like fairy tale stories. Storms will rage and winds would be buffeting the foundations that we have built.
We have managed to live a meager albeit happy way of life, strolls in the park, picnics under ruffled sheets and clouds of pillows. But in 2017, our youngest was diagnosed with Dengue Fever and was hospitalized. As if one storm is not sufficient, both my husband and I were suddenly and unexpectedly laid off from work in the middle of our child's critical condition. Being mere employees working on minimum wages plus supporting the needs of my husband's aging parents, we were forced to succumb to debt after debt to fund our child's hospitalization and make ends meet.
Since then, we have been displaced and destitute as we strive our earnest to meet our obligations together with the mounting expenses of day to day living. We have scrimped and saved to no avail.
In this regard, we are humbly knocking on your kind hearts to help us in our dream of starting a small business that would be beneficial for our children's welfare and future. We are planning to start up a cleaning products manufacturing business with everyone in the family pitching in (Yes, the kids are helping out in their small ways too!). Our financial situation is not satisfactory enough for us to take another loan. Your kind help - your sterling support for a parent's dream of a bright and happy future for her children would mean more than the world for my family and myself.
We may not be financially well off but are rich in faith and could offer you nothing but our prayers for you and yours and the promise to pay the support that you will show forward, as soon as we get back on our feet.
In behalf of my family, I would like to express how eternally grateful I am for you show of support, your gift of trust, your friendship and concern. May the Lord in His grace and mercy bless you a hundred fold for your kindness.
