A New Hope for Someone’s Heart

I hope everything turns well.

I am Jennifer Narvas, 34 years of age.When I was 8 years old. I was diagnosed for PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriuosus) .I was advised to get the operation however, my parents didn't have any capabilities for doing it. My parents were a farmer. But these days, I am the breadwinner of my family because they are already old.

During my 30's, I already experienced all the symptoms of having the PDA.My lifestyle has changed a lot. I easily get tired and have shortness of breath when I do some activities. Then one day, I was admitted for pneumonia and I've been taking Lanoxin and Sildenafil since 2014.

My doctor asked me to take the Hemodynamic study because they found out that my Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension is getting severe. I took the Hemodynamic study last Feb. 27,2019 with PDA closure as well at Philippine Heart Center Manila.

However,the operation was aborted because of my Hypertension. There was no significant decrease during trial occlusion.If they continue the closure it leads to heart failure.

Therefore, doctors decided to maximize my medical management with Sildenafil (P 83.00) and Bosentan (P 1110.00) and repeat Hemodynamic studies and PDA closure after 3 months if possible.

That's why, I'm knocking your heart to support my medication for 3 months and PDA closure as well.

The medicines that I am taking right now are so expensive and my daily wage is not enough to buy all of them. It would be my last chance to decrease my Hypertension so that my PDA closure will be successful for the second time around probably in July 2019.
