A new heart for a new life

Hi everyone! I'd like to ask for your help and support for my upcoming open heart surgery. I'm 31 years old and I'm from Silang Cavite. I'm working as a Customer Service Representative in one of the BPO companies in the Philippines. I've been suffering from Rheumatic Heart Disease since childhood and things got worse. After being diagnosed with Pneumonia last year, my heart condition started to deteriorate. I easily get tired and I feel chest pains and difficulty in breathing. I had to go on leave from work since I'm no longer fit to work. This made some difficulities for me and my family since I help my family for our daily needs. My father died from cardiac arrest when I was in college so I need to help my family.

I was advised by my doctor to undergo an open heart surgery to replace 2 valves of my heart and repair another one. The doctor told me to undergo this procedure as soon as possible as this condition deteriorates the health of my heart. I was diagnosed with severe mitral stenosis and severe aortic regurgitation. The procedure is very expensive and I don't have enough funds to compensate for this operation. The procedure has to be done at the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City.

I humbly ask for your support so that I can overcome this disease and win my battle against this heart ailment. The doctor said that I have a very good chance of surviving because of my age and my very positive outlook in life, so I need to do it as soon as I can. I'd like to pursue my dreams and continue to work. I would still like to continue to work as a trainer and expand my knowledge and experiences. I have a dream to travel and see the world that's full of adventure. And right now, my heart condition is keeping me from doing the things I like to do. I also want to continue to help my family have a better future and send my younger sister to school. And if will have the chance to help other patients who are suffering from heart disease, I would like to be part of their battle too.
