There is no trick to making a great banana chip snack. The easy way is slice a regular banana into a bunch of circles, dehydrate them and put them in a bag. The most tasty way is to use green plantains, cut them lengthwise, soak them in a sugar base and then deep fry. This is without doubt the tastiest banana chip you will ever have. So why don't you see more of them? Because they can be extremly time consuming to make without the right equipment. These snacks are very popular in Southease Asia. A'net is from Laos and has been making these delicious chips for years. She now makes them here, by hand, in Minnesota.
A'net has grown her small chip business into about a 150 bags a week but that is about all she can do without some automation. That's why we are here. A'net wants to open a factory in Osseo, MN.
