Hi everyone! I am knocking on your kind hearts to extend help to our family during this difficult time.

My mother was recently diagnosed with LUNG CANCER Stage 3. Our family is in great need of your help since our funds has greatly depleted due to several sickness that my mother had just for this year.

Last July 05, 2018 my mother called me saying that she can't stand and she is in pain. We rushed her to the hospital and she was diagnosed of SCIATICA, a pain affecting the back, hip and outer side of the leg, caused by the compression of a spinal nerve root in the lower back. The Dr. advised us that she would need to undergo Laminectomy, a surgical operation to remove the back of one or more vertebrae, usually to give access to the spinal cord or to relieve pressure on nerves. Prior to this my mother was hospitalized because of difficulty of breathing and anorexia and initially she was diagnosed of Pulmonary Tuberculosis. She Started with RIPE and due to the medicine that she was taking, it weakened her bones and caused a fracture to her hips. The Dr. assumed that the cause of the pain was Sciatica but after the surgery my mother is still not able to walk. After X-ray it was soon to know that it was a hip fracture that caused the pain and not Sciatica. The Dr. advised that she would need to undergo another operation to correct the hip fracture. While we were raising funds for her surgery, the Pulmonologist ordered a CT- Scan because she found a big mass on her right lungs.

To cut the long story short, the mass on her upper right lungs was a Invasive poorly differentiated carcinoma, non small cell guided by a Biopsy (Malignant cancer cells). The Dr. ordered EGFR Exon 21 and PDL1 to determine the kind of treatment my mother will undergo.

The result was both positive, which means that she doesn't have to go through Chemotherapy but she can take Oral Cancer Drugs which targets the cancer cells and doesn't affect normal and good cells. However, this drug is costly and my mother would also need to undergo Radiotherapy. Also, the fracture on her hips hasn't been treated yet.

We need to raise funds for her radiotherapy, oral cancer drugs and other medical needs. if you could donate any amount, it would help my mother get the treatment she needs.
