A MOTHER’S FIGHT

Our mom's name is Charity Gonzales Cantos, 48 years old housewife and mother of 6 children with address at Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro. She experienced severe headaches last May of 2019 and her body start to weaken the following months. When we decided to bring her to the hospital last November 05, 2019 and undergone various medical tests, she was diagnosed with Metastasis. Another MRI test was done and it shown the same result. Her MR Spectroscopy establishes the presence of tumor signature within dominant left occipital and right parrieto-temporal masses in her brain. There is a dominant 5.8 cm mass involving her left occipital lobe, accompanied by a 1.4 cm nodule involving the right parieto-temporal junction. In addition, a 6 mm nodule is seen at the right orbitofrontal gyrus. The doctor advised for an operation to get sample of the nodule in her brain for further tests. Currently, she was advised to have full bed rest and took her medications regularly. Our father has no permanent source of income to finance her medications while we, their children are all still studying. We are receiving help and assistance from our relatives and close family members but they also have their obligations of their own. This is the reason why, we are appealing for your financial assistance for our mom's medications.
