Campaign Story
"Love will build a bridge where once there was a wall."
This crowd-funding project is for love.
This project has been created to help us raise funds for our upcoming trip to Bangladesh, so that I can meet the parents of my incredible fiancee.
While we're in Bangladesh, I'll be staying with her mother and meeting her incredible
family, with 50+ cousins, 20 aunts and uncles. We will likely be
having an engagement ceremony to commemorate our love, our bond, and
our promise to care for each other for the rest of our lives.
The specifics:
Success! Using the funds we've raised from this project, I've been able to purchase a round-trip plane ticket from Los Angeles to Dhaka at $818!!
I am so incredibly grateful for the love and support that all of you have shown us <3. Thank you.
A traveler's
visa to Bangladesh is next on the list. It costs $150, and I will be purchasing this at the beginning of the year.
Now comes the series of vaccinations. I am actually very surprised at the price of these. I am looking at about $400 total (Hep A x 2 @ $125 each, Hep B x 2 @ $95 each, Tdap @ $65). That was very unexpected indeed! Because of this price, I've raised the amount of the campaign from its original $1,250 to $1,500.
The additional $100 includes the travel cost of
transportation to/from the airports.
Any surplus donations will go towards the trip itself, such as a travel visa to India, with special emphasis on activities that will enrich our experience there.

Dear friend Acea, I always regard you as a kind, happy and bright soul whose journey to seek for the bliss, adventures, friendships and love is not only strong but exemplary, unique and awesome in itself. I was very new to this country when I first met you. You overlooked at my shortcomings, social awkwardness and lack of values and understanding which I possess now; and you accepted me as a friend, helped me through touch times, ate my cooking without complain although, if I remember it well, it was terribly spicy and amateurish. I saw that you only focused on what was good in me and made me realize that so that I can enjoy the moments of friendships and the good in life that I had access to at the moment. Thank you for taking us on a wonderful road trip to Crater lake and camping on the coos bay, and the eye opening tour of the Eugene Oregon Country Fair. Thank you for showing me the 'Golden Gate Bridge' of St. Johns and bike rides we did on that day. There're lot more thank you but I do not want to overwhelm and confuse you :) I am excited for your trip to Bangladesh and your future with your beloved. I could not have made it to Bangladesh without your help, and we would not have had such an amazing journey.
