Meziah was diagnosed with Maple Syrup Urine Disease, similar to PKU.

MSUD is an inherited metabolic disorder named for the characteristic maple syrup smell in the urine of individuals with MSUD. The disease is characterized by irritability, poor feeding, lethargy, seizures, and coma in infancy if untreated.

BCAD is the only Formula and there's no substitute for this. It costs around $50 per can plus frieght and tax so it will cost for up to $70 per can.

It is given to us before for free but because of the pandemic they stopped for the meantime and will last for 6 months. 1 box contains 6 cans that cost $300 without freight and tax and the shipping fee cost around $80-$120 so apparently 1 box will cost $380-$420.

6 cans usually last for 2 weeks, but because there is no supply we have to make it for atleast 3 weeks.

Meziah is not allowed to take any other milk aside from BCAD, Her body usually hates protein and this milk is the only formula with incomplete protein. It is especialized for those baby's with documented Maple Syrup Urine Diseas

We are in the Philippines, from the province of Leyte. This milk is only available abroad like United States, you can't find this milk anywhere in the Philippines and we are still looking for someones help who live abroad to buy this milk in Drugstore and ship it to us. Please help us. My child will get hungry and might results to siezure if she's not taking enough BCAD.

For now, we are limiting her from drinking her milk cause we still have no funds that can buy 1 can.

If Meziah's leucine level go high, this will result her from having dry skin again, poor suck, coma, brain edema and worst, death.

This was her when she was 2-3 months, Her leucine Level got elevated. She had dry skin all over her body and cause from having open wounds from her head down to her feet that leads to different sypsis and blood infection.

This is her 4th time of having elevated leucine, and cause her lack of energy. Her heartbeat drop to 45 and almost revive. Her first rashes cause her to loose her hair because shes having Infections in her head because of open wounds like in her neck.

Please, I don't want her seeing in the hospital and fighting for her life again. Im a teenage mom and I can't do nothing but to cry every day and night praying that may God heal my daughter.

Let's say 1 box of BCAD cost $380 without frieght and tax. 1 box contains 6 cans and usually lasts for 2 weeks. The crisis will last upto June 2021 (6months), there is 26 weeks in 6 months. It'll be 13 weeks since she use 1 box per 2 weeks.

13 weeks x $380 is 247,000 pesos or $4,940

But if it's $420 per box it will be 273,000 pesos or $5,460 without frieght and tax. So our main goal is $6000 but I know we won't even make it up to $1000 especially that I am always reported as a scam.
