A little help for my Father’s hospital/medical expenses

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well.

I am actually writing this for my father. He was diagnosed with ITP & Ulcer since 2013. This is an immune disease which kills his platelets and he has also a weak stomach due to having an ulcer. And this is the reason why he voluminously vomits fresh blood and why he was being hospitalized again and again.

Just this friday 13th of March, my father was rushed into the hospital as he vomitted fresh blood. He was admitted to ICU- Intensive Care Unit due to severe anemia. And he was also then diagnosed with Pneumonia high risk. That was the time when we saw our father with really having a very unstable condition. We cry a lot, as we thought that he wouldn't make it. He was lacking oxygen so he was intubated and was given mechanical ventilator support and other medical aparatus. On the next days , they did gave my father blood transfusion for 5 units of PRBC and was eventually extubated. And because my father was admitted to ICU for almost 5 days, our bills became higher and higher. It is now around 230-250,000 pesos.

As much as me and my family wanted to keep this to ourselves, we can't, as we don't have enough money to pay the bills and to buy medical supplies for my father. Also, currently we cannot ask for a help with our Gov't offices due to lockdown because of the covid 19.

It is very hard for me to see my father suffering like that over and over again. As this type of illness really doesn't have a cure at this time. We already tried everything to help to increase his platelets but it is still below the normal count. Some doctors already advised us that there is a medicine which can help to increase platelet counts, however it is 800 per capsule which is very costly. He needs to take this continously and unfortunately we cannot afford to buy this medicine as he also has other maintenance medicines. It also hurts me a lot, seeing my mother being so much stressed and hopeless as she don't know anymore where to get enough money for my father's hospital bills and medical expenses. And this is the least thing I can do to help them. Me and my family would like you to all know that any amount would be greatly appreciated.
