A little change makes all the difference

My name is Mohammad Alkhawaldeh. I am a 28 years old Jordanian doctor, currently living in Germany.

I never imagined having to do this, but circumstances changed beyond our control, at times. I believe there are people out there who can connect with me although we’ve never met, & help me achieve my dream and my goals.

My journey started by getting a scholarship to study medicine in Egypt after I graduated (thank god for that ) I went back to my home country Jordan and there I started to face so many obstacles starting by an unpaid practical year, a whole year working without salary then I had to work for free for another year ( some months I was lucky to earn around 400$/month) because I did not have enough experience to work in a hospital or private clinic and of course I was treating some poor people without money during that period. BUT the main obstacle is that more than 70% of the residency programme is unpaid meaning I will work for free (without even health insurance) for at least 5-6 years which was overwhelming for me and I decided to leave the country and go to Germany ( I am here for 6 months now ) so I took a loan from people I know and my father helped me as much as he could to be able to go to Germany.

In Germany, I started by learning the language and I am done with B2 level now and the next step to finish 2 medical exams then I will be able to start my journey here in Germany and work, however, because German authorities are so slow, studying my file taking too long and they did not even give me an appointment for the first medical exam that is called Fachsprachprüfung or C1 Medizin or C1 level for medical language,therefore my visa is going to end soon and I need to renew it but sadly they ask to put money enough to support my living for another year and this is WHY I am here.

I’m trying to raise some money to cover my living expenses such as food a rent for my shared apartment, transportation, and other expenses like books, printing, and project-related material... etc.

This is a great opportunity for me to change my life! and I can not think of another way to get money because I can not take more loans anymore.
