A Light In The Darkness

Hey,

I know this is going to be difficult, but do hear me out.

I'm from a relatively small country where the youths are sheltered and we grow up with little crime and terrorism. We don't really know much pain or misfortunes. However, last week, someone from my school committed suicide. It shocked everyone to the core because it isn't something that happens frequently, and the person was well-liked and wonderful.

I didn't really know her, but what's been hurting me is that my best friend was extremely close to her, and I'm just watching all the life and zest drain out of her. She once was a lively and cheerful girl, always running around and making those around her happy. These days, she's quiet and subdued and it hurts to even look at her.

In September, her favourite band is coming to our country for a concert and she told me she wouldn't be going because of how expensive the tickets are. I decided that she's been through so much pain and misery, I would like to do something in my capacity as a friend to bring her something happy that she can look forward to and hold onto.

Therefore, this campaign is just to raise funds to buy a pair of tickets so she can attend the concert with someone and experience the joy, the exhilaration, before she's once again immersed in the obstacles and difficulties that life brings her. She is extremely precious to me and i would do anything to make her smile, which is why i'm doing this.

I know it sounds difficult to believe because i have provided close to no details to confirm, but i wholeheartedly promise that this is genuine. I just can't bear for anyone that I know to find out, nor do i want her to discover i've revealed our personal emotional turmoils to the world.

The goal is not an exorbitant sum of many and I'm sure that if many of you chip in a little, we'll be able to reach it and fulfill her dream. Yes, I know it's difficult, but I'm hoping you will trust me because I'm writing this with utmost sincerity. Please, help me out just this once. Please.
