Hello everyone, not knowing exactly where to start I introduce myself: my name is Nadia Holzknecht, I am Italian, I have two beautiful children, I am 38 years old and since 2011 I live in Tunisia and together with my husband I have a dream: to raise the destiny of the North African people. Give dignity to every inhabitant of this vast territory, not only to those who live in small or large towns, but also in the neighboring and marginalized areas, which are the most in need.

My husband has already started a project of rural support for the farmers who, despite having land (mostly small plots that have broken up in the inheritance among countless brothers), do not have the economic possibility to plant and then cultivate anything. Through donations made by companies to get publicity (social marketing), he buys and let plant for these farmers a certain quantity of olive trees, in order to make them self-sufficient within a few years. Anyone who want to know more about my husband's project can look for Symbiosis Empire on Facebook or on Youtube; if you google Symbiosis Empire you will find the website, but unfortunately it is not updated due to lack of funds.

My desire is instead to make these populations as intellectually independent as possible, in the sense that those who have the desire to study or simply expand their cultural baggage can do so without excessive costs. In short, I would like to open a library, but not any one.

I would like to dedicate it to the various characters who have won the Nobel Prize since it exists, noone of them excluded, because I consider them the symbol of a change that every single person is potentially able to do. In addition to the various writings of all these characters, however, I would also like to set up some other sections in my opinion very useful in various fields of study. They are: medicine (of all existing genres, not only the allopathic, but also holistic, homeopathic, herbal, Ayurvedic, etc. ...), science, engineering, architecture, technique, philosophy (here I would like it to spread as much as possible to all the cultures of the planet), psychology, history, literature, art and crafts, agriculture and gardening, etc ... In addition, to be as complete as possible, I would like to add to the library: a garden for outdoor study, a conference room and a gym where yoga, meditation and tai chi chuan classes will be organized (but this will be the next step, first the actual library must be opened!).

For those who live far away, it will not be necessary to go physically to the library to consult the books: a dedicated website will be set up, in which the card-holders will be able to reserve the chosen book(s), which they will receive directly at home via the already existing national transport service and, once the time available for consultation has expired, they will return it through the same system.

For the purchase of the building and its arrangement we will require the sum of € 150,000, which unfortunately we do not have. The Tunisian government does not release funds and is blackening all the crowdfunding sites (living in Tunisia, we will open the library in Tunisia, which is also a fairly geographically centered place, but we hope to succeed in making it big and equipped enough to make it become a point of reference for all the intellectuals of North Africa and beyond, God willing).

The various steps are:

- Purchase a suitable structure to be used as a library

- Set up the library with shelves, tables, chairs and computers

- Buy books

- Organize a staff that takes care of the various tasks necessary for the management of the library

We ask for help to you private citizens, anyone who has the opportunity to make a donation and has at heart the issue of migrants, give the opportunity to these people to have a better future without having to leave the African continent. Thank you so much.
