A lasting Legacy

This is a campaign to help raise the money needed to create a lasting tribute for the one and only Joyce Ann (Walker) Sapp ~ also known as ~ GiGi to her family and friends in Florida. As many of you may already know Joyce had been under Hospice care for some time. This organization provided Joyce, and her loved ones with emotional support, and compassionate care as she fought her battle with Cancer. When Joyce began to lose that battle she was transferred to a Hospice facility where she will spend the remaining days of her life under the care of the Suncoast Hospice Foundation / Empath health in Palm Harbor, FL. Joyce is still receiving compassionate care, and so is her large & loving family that is gathered by her bedside. This family consists of her Husband Ron, Daughters Kimberly and Michelle, Son-in-law Doug Truitt, Grandchildren Daniel, and Cassie, and Great Grandchildren Ally, Izzy, Abby, Lucas, and Hunter, as well as out of town family members, extended family, and friends that have become family. Joyce is constantly surrounded by so many people who love, and admire her, and who will be forever effected by her loss. Lets help Joyce's surviving family members as listed above as well as those surviving her in the great state of Kentucky including her two sisters and their families, son-in-law Todd Roach, grandchildren Corey & Justin , great-grandchildren Bryalon, Kenzy, Wyatt, Waylon, & Axel to create a lasting tribute to remember and honor her legacy. Hospice offers the opportunity to create a customized Boardwalk plaque that will honor Joyce's memory, and serve as reminder of all the lives Joyce has touched while she lived hers. Creating this plaque will also provide the remaining family a beautiful place to go to remember, celebrate, and honor Joyce's memory. The cost of this customized plaque is $1,000 and ALL proceeds raised go as a donation to The Suncoast Hospice Foundation / Empath Health. This organization not only provides end of life care, and a comfortable place to transition, but they provide so much for the family members of the people they are caring for. These services include but are not limited to emotional support, grief counseling, encouragement, education, food and drinks, etc...,etc. Donations will ensure that Hospice can continue to provide care and support to patients as they near the end of life. I know that money can be a concern for most people at this time of year, but anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated, and will help us to achieve our goal of raising $1,000.00 to create a lasting legacy for Joyce and her loved ones, and helping to support an amazing organization. If you are blessed enough to have your loved ones celebrating with you this Holiday season please take a moment to tell them just how much you love them, and how grateful you are for your time spent together.

All donations of $50.00 or higher will receive a handmade "Warrior" word bracelet in honor of the battle Joyce, and so many other beautiful have fought with Cancer. No matter if you, or someone you love has won or lost the fight with Cancer the battle is something to honor and be proud of!!!

* When this was first written Joyce was still fighting her battle, and at the time of publishing it is with a very heavy heart I must update it to say that Joyce has now ended her fight with Cancer on Sunday evening. Joyce will be missed, but will live on in our hearts and memories. What is remembered lives!!! My plea to help raise the money for this plaque is that much stronger now PLEASE help this family as they grieve the loss of their matriarch this Yule/Christmas!!! Any amount is ok to donate EVERY dollar brings us closer to our goal... I thank you in advance for your donations this holiday season.
