Pastor Leo’s Lifesaving Journey: Help Fund His Kidney Transplant

My name is Pastor Leo De Pedro, and I serve as a Pastor of the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Taculing, Bacolod City. Additionally, I am a Pioneering Pastor of the Redeemer of Life Christian Community Fellowship in Hacienda Bagroy, Silay City, Negros Occidental. My journey in faith has led me to dedicate my life to spreading the teachings of Christ and uplifting the spirits of those in need.

However, a few years ago, I received life-altering news - I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. My commitment to my faith has always been unwavering, but the physical toll of my illness has made it increasingly challenging to fulfill my pastoral duties. You see, I do not have a fixed salary in the church, as most of our members are indigents like myself. Instead, I rely on the generosity of donations from other churches, families, and church supporters to make ends meet.

As the years have passed, the financial burden of my medical condition has become overwhelming. I struggle to afford the necessary medications that would help manage my condition, resulting in a gradual deterioration of my health. This year, my doctor made it clear that the only viable option left for me to extend my life and fulfill my calling is a kidney transplant.

I have a beautiful wife and three young daughters who mean the world to me. I have dreams of watching them grow, graduate, and walking them down the aisle on their wedding days. However, my deteriorating health is threatening to rob me of these precious moments. That's why I've created this fundraising campaign, with the hope of raising the necessary funds for a kidney transplant.

Our church relies on my guidance and support, and my family depends on my love and care. I yearn to continue our gospel outreach, providing for underprivileged children, and spreading the message of Christ to every corner of our community, but I can't do it alone. Your generosity and support can make a life-changing difference for me and my family.
