A Kidney for Kevin is a non-profitable campaign, created and managed by some close friends to help Kevin for a kidney transplantation. But before we continue, who is Kevin?
Kevin is a 27 year old patient who was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease about a year ago. Before all the treatments, he lived a relatively normal life, just like us, working hard-earned money to support not only himself but also the entire family.
However, things started to change from the moment he firstly experienced symptoms up to being diagnosed. Check-ups and hospitalizations became more frequent and Hemodialysis was set to three times a week. On top of that, Kevin started to experience difficulty in breathing and was found to have Aspergillosis, a medical disease caused by infections or fungi that hit his lungs. This has cause him to be oxygen-dependant and makes it hard for him to move about.
Despite all the hardships he has had and is still enduring, Kevin is hopeful for a brighter future and that is being able to undergo transplant on his failed kidney. Unfortunately, the procedure requires a considerable amount of money and that is something Kevin and his family are currently working on.
The reason for this campaign is to be able to raise some money to support the operation that needs to be done as soon as possible as it is his only way to live a normal life again
Your little help and support are Kevin's biggest blessings.
Thank you and may God bless you always.
