Our dearest friend Priti Saldana, lost everything last night. A fire destroyed her apartment complex in Edgewater, New Jersey on January 21st. 
 
She is going through a  divorce and lives with her 13-year-old son, Ethan.  Since everything went up in smoke, she now has to start her life over again from zero.  She is not financially well off so she literally needs EVERYTHING (which is why we made this campaign for her).
 
WHO IS PRITI SALDANA?  She is an extraordinary human being, committed to her family, friends and community.  Over the past few months, she's created a support group for women who are going through a tough time in her community.  She wanted to let other women know that they aren't alone in their struggles.  Let's let her know that she's not alone now.

  • I am a friend of Amy Goodman. I am so sorry for what you are going through. I was 10 years old when our family home was destroyed in a fire. My mother, also a single mom. To this day I am still struck by the kindness and generosity of strangers. I hope you feel the prayers coming to you from all around the world.
