A Home for Mom :)

My mother lives in Zambia, Africa. A single mother who worked so very hard doing whatever it took to raise me and my 2 siblings after our father left us. One thing that kept her spirit high through the difficult situation was her dream of one day waking in her own house with no bills to pay or letters from the landlord. Her dream has been to have a nice family house on a farm, where she can take care of her grandchildren, grow her own food and raise animals. Our promise to her growing up, in appreciation for her hard work, was that we will raise her dignity in the community by building a very nice house for her that she can live out her last years in.

However, all my siblings have since died and life, economically, has gotten worse even I am in employment. My mother, now old and not in good health, is still in a bad economic situation. She runs a very small business just to make ends meets – selling second hand clothes donated by people in Europe. Life is not easy for an ailing aged woman in Zambia and despite that she works every day more that 12 hours. With my meagre earnings, I am unable to support her adequately as I also have to take care of the children that my siblings left. So I am looking for you help me deliver on the promise that I made with my late siblings; makingmy mother ‘s longtime dream come true - build her a comfortable family house where she can finally can be happy .
