A helping hand, not a handout

I am 41 years old, and broke. I have a decent job, but life events have left me in a mess. I know it is the same story everywhere, but, I am not asking you to simply give me money, I am asking for a loan. This past November, my long time boyfriend left and left me with a series of loans to pay off that he had taken out in my name when he lost his job. I have been financially supporting two households off of one paycheck since 2006, since I have a disabled sister with three children who only recently was granted social security. I came from poverty and worked myself up, but life hasn't been the same for the rest of my family, and I have definitely shouldered the brunt of it. I have a 16 year old nephew who didn't take the path of drugs and alcohol like the adults in his life once did. He is bi-polar and has worked very hard to live a productive life. He is a straight A student who stays out of trouble, plays sports, and likes to race cars. All he wants is to move to North Carolina to go to college when he graduates next year. I made him a promise I have every intention of keeping, because I am proud that he has pulled himself up despite the hand he was dealt. With his mental disabilty, shipping him off to school on his own wouldn't be the best idea, so, I am planning on relocating with him next year. I would do anything to see this child have a chance at a life that so many are not given. I probably could have pulled everything off, if this past week my vehicle hadn't decided it was going to begin a slow death. Power windows have stopped working, and driver's side is caught down and it's been rainy and cold. The brake lines have a leak somewhere we can't find because there is never fluid underneath, but it keeps running out, leaving me with no breaks and a frightening ride home. Especially with this rain we have been having. Electricty is going to be shut off at both houses I have been paying for. This abnormally cold weather is making me use oil I can't afford to replace. My dogs' shots are due, and I will have a fine if they are not. I have been living on chef boyardee and ramen. My rent is 3000 behind (thankful my landlord is amazing!!!!!). I don't ask for help, I have lived and supported myself on my own for many, many years.

But, I AM asking now. And, I PROMISE YOU, ALL donations will be returned to you as quickly as I can. I will put it in writing if you want! I know there are alot of good people on here who have been helping people out, just because you can. I want to be back to being that person. I want to be back to being able to say "here, you need this more than I do", Please help me to be that person again; someone who feels fulfilled in the things she does for others, and who doesn't break down when she feels so hopeless and helpless. Help me get back on my feet so I can get this boy to college and help him achieve the life he deserves.
