Calling all caring and helping hearts. I am a Certified Nurses Assistant. I have 4 children whom I love and will go above and beyond for. I recently hurt myself during work but in fear of loosing or quitting my job I continued to work through the pain. Some days we are severely understaffed and thus creates a heavy work assignment. I have taken days off work to soak and rest but in doing so have reduced my already non-existing income.
This month I had to choose between paying rent or car note. I paid my rent! I thought I was being responsible and called car company to ask for an extension, but they came the next morning to repossess the car, 1 day before the due date.
Most of my work is in St. Charles. If I can not get to work, I can not work, and if I can not work can not pay my remaining bills. Although I have help with the small things no one is really in the position to shell out a large sum of money. The cost of living is way higher than than what we earn so I totally understand.
I need my car and have interviews setup but needed to push back due to some places not being public transportation accessible or just too far for the bus. Besides most Home Health places requires you to have a car.
I have $400 due for car note, $375 in tow fees, and $12 a day storage. It has been 1 week since the repossession and was told my things would be sold/auctioned after September 11, 2018. I have figured in the total and extra fees they will add on.
Please consider yourself a Blessing with assist a single mother just trying to make ends meet. Thank You for Your time and consideration.
