This Valentines Day, I stumbled upon a very heart breaking story featured on one of the TV Shows here in the Philippines. A young boy is fighting for survival because of his heart ailment and his parents are doing the best way they can to raise funds for the boy's heart surgery.
According to the doctors, if the surgery doesn't take place, the boy will not even reach puberty stage for his heart is not able to get enough oxygen.
Presently his parents are working hard enough to make heart figurines (coinbank) and sells it for PHP250.00 to be able to raise the money for his surgery. Hopefully this campaign, can be of any help for the family. I am a parent myself and I can only imagine the fear and the hurt that they are going through right now.
