Late last year I had the opportunity to meet and amazing elderly couple from my community. Ken is known around town as "The Tomato Man" because he has the absolute best home-grown tomatoes you have ever eaten and Dorothy, Dorothy used to can like nobody's business. At 93 years old Ken is just as picky about his tomatoes as he ever was, and Dorothy has kinda given up on the whole canning idea, I think. "Just too much time and not enough help," she says.

Shortly after meeting these two love birds, I began to understand that they are, shall we say, short on energy and have too many chores to go around.

Organizer

I own and operate a small bookkeeping firm, I am a member of the B.P.O of Elks of the USA, and want to make sure these two are cared for.

This week in Northern California, it is a blistering 90 degree day! I brought some flowers to Dorothy today, they reminded me of her - such a beautiful sight.
