A guitar for Maurito

Hello there! I’m Mauro Blotta, and this is a request for help.

I’m a busker, a street musician. I was just coming home from busking one night a month ago when two guys with knives stole my guitar and a bag with my phone, laptop, documents and other belongings. A 1978 japanese Yamaha acoustic guitar; it was with me for 12 years and I walked everywhere with it.

That guitar was the only really important object in my life, and it broke my heart to have it stolen. She has always been a welcome guest in hundreds of gatherings in houses, bonfires and gatherings with friends everywhere I have been. Many people played and loved that guitar. Although it was not particularly expensive, its age gave it a wonderful tone, it was part of my family!

In reality, it is invaluable and irreplaceable. But I’m really needing a guitar to work. That is the reason why I’m kindly requesting for any help that you can give me, to get the things I need to work and keep moving forward.

Due to mental disorders, it is impossible for me to get a normal job, the only thing I can do at the moment is work with music. I really need a hand in this difficult time, and to rebalance the negative energy that my instrument was stolen, I love the idea of having a guitar that generosity and kindness will achieve.

If anyone of you has any acoustic guitar that do not use and can donate to me, or maybe an old cell phone or laptop, or guitar accessories (dreadnought acoustic case, strap, capo, tuner) it will serve me a lot and I will give them the best use. If it is the case that you cand send me something via mail, send me a PM and I give you my address.

I appreciate very much any collaboration, and also your help in spreading this. My current situation is not easy at all, but I am convinced that with help, effort and determination I will achieve my goals and move forward. P.S.: If the donations exceed the guitar value, I will use the money to buy a battery powered amplifier to plug the guitar on the streets so I can have more volume and reach more people around. Thanks again in advance!
