Hello, I’m Chloe. I am Cedrik’s sister.

For years, we never thought that things would turn out like this. He is a hardworking man, generous and a thoughtful person. He is the witty one in the group, the eldest among us siblings, pretty much the tough cookie. A warrior.

It started with a headache mid April 2020 and wasn't relieved by pain relievers. On April 29, 2020, after a Brain CT scan, it showed that there’s an anomaly in his brain. When we consulted a neurosurgeon, it turned out to be a tumor but we couldn’t yet confirm its type unless we do a biopsy.

They traveled to Cebu which is the only place accessible at that time due to ECQ for a SRS brain biopsy.The result of the tissue report was Low grade Glioma WHO Grade 2 but CT-scan and MRI readings showed otherwise.

They flew in to Manila to have an awake craniotomy after having online consultations by specialists. On July 15, he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma.

Glioblastoma is a type of cancer that appears in the brain or spinal cord. It is the most common and most aggressive type of primary tumors. Glioblastoma can be very difficult to treat and a cure is often not possible but treatments may slow progression of the cancer and reduce signs and symptoms. (1)

Due to his condition, he is on indefinite leave (without pay) along with his wife who is by his side. They both work as nurses but with the pandemic still happening, our savings and theirs have been in a tight spot. The expenses are not something to be taken lightly but we are trying our best to supply his needs.

He graduated on Sept. 15, 2020 from his 1 cycle of oral chemotherapy and 30 days of radiation therapy. We are humbly asking for help for his chemo maintenance phase for an additional 6 cycles of maintenance treatment and other medical expenses.

Final Dose of 320 mg per day for 5 days followed by 23 days without treatment.

You (or us) might encounter problems regarding transactions with Paypal, so we offer these alternatives. We are humbly requesting if you could deposit your assistance to these accounts;
