Campaign Story
New Update: Zoey is almost finished her Puppy Kindergarten class and will be evaluated for the Puppy STAR recognition. This is like the CGC but for puppies and is the first step to the CGC.
Good news!!! We found the puppy and have brought her home to begin her training to be Tina’s service dog. Her name is Zoey.
Click on the pictures for close ups of possible gifts. Also, keep checking in as we will be adding more gifts.
We also have hand turned pens and leather crafts to offer as gifts. Please help me fund Zoey's continued training.
My good friend, Tina has had depression for most of her life. Over the past two years she has developed anxiety problems and agoraphobia, and her therapist recommended that she get a service dog to help her daily to deal with these symptoms, allow her to leave home more, and ensure her safety. Her psychiatrist has agreed, so we found a very special puppy named Zoey to be her service dog prospect.
Now that we have Zoey, Tina will work with a trainer to train this puppy to be able to assist her with the symptoms of her illness that are so disabling. This will allow Zoey and Tina to bond as they work together to learn the many lessons that Zoey needs to help Tina heal and have a new life outside her home. This training may take as long as two years to do properly.
My goal is to raise enough funds to cover Zoey’s extensive obedience training, training and service-related equipment, CGC and PAT evaluations and any other training or health expenses related to preparing this dog to assist Tina in her daily living.
All donations are welcome, and certain donation amounts will also be eligible to receive a hand made thank you gift. These gifts are listed on the right side of the page.
Please note, the bracelets, key chains, and earrings are made from anodized aluminum jump rings. Let us know the size jewelry you need. My email is: [email protected]
God bless you and your family and thank you,
Chris

Zoey is now a puppy STAR!!!!
Update posted by Chris Cummins at 02:58 pmZoey passed the first stage in her puppy training and is now a puppy STAR. STAR is an AKC evaluation similar to the CGC (Canine Good Citizen) evaluation that dogs over a year take. STAR is for puppies and dogs under one year and Zoey did great! Thanks to all
