About the little fellow
Robert-Gabriel SAVA (born 13.07.2010), member of Central Chess Club, is the blitz chess national vice-champion of Romania in 2018 among the 8 years old boys.
He is a happy kid passionate about the game of kings, with great desire to become the strongest player in the world.
He has a tremendous intrinsic motivation which helps him train more than 20 hours a week and participate in at least one tournament every month.
|2018 was the year Robert proved to be one the most promising talents of his generation, therefore I want to give him the opportunity to take his passion to the right level of performance.
His chess activity can be followed on:
About the chess education
|My name is Christiansen SAVA and I am Robert's trainer. I am also his father and manager, so it is very cost effective for any sponsor, because I travel with him as a parent and coach.
I am a chess trainer with FIDE license and I hold the title of National Master in chess.
He is supported by:
- Alter MOVE Association (NGO established to promote chess as an education tool). Through the „Check-Mate” Program we finance Robert's training and some minor expenses
- Central Chess Club (the oldest and the biggest junior chess club in Romania). The club supports some of the expenses for the domestic tournaments.
