Hello, if you are here you are undoubtedly a kind person looking to help people around the world. I am here to ask for your help. I attend Penn College of Technology in the Electrical Technology program. I had planned on doing a 2+2 program to earn a bachelors and an associates in 4 years so that I could have the most well rounded and most flexible degree I could in the electrical sciences. Ever since going to a technical school program in high school electricity has fascinated me, it is the closest thing in this world to magic we have. With my degree I am able to do residential, commercial, industrial, PLC (programmable logic controllers,) and electronics. After completing my third semester I fell in love with the electronics aspects, and as a musician I wanted to work in the pro-audio field working with power supplies, amplifiers, speakers, effect modulators, just anything and everything to do with the audio electronic components. After my third semester I have a 3.77 average and have worked very hard in my classes. I have also found it is very hard to get into this field and while entering my fourth semester I am coming up a little short on money. This is my dream and I would love to be able to finish school so that I can just pursue the career I love. I already have plenty of scholarships and grants, they just don't cover it and my school is very stingy on financial aid and very heavy on tuition fee. It is more expensive than I first imagined and I am asking for just anything you can spare, so long as you find this a worthy cause I promise I will work hard to finish school and pursue my dream. I have also been taken in by a local music store to be apprenticed in amp-technician work without pay so I may learn. If this project allows me to reach my goal I promise to give back after employment/loan payments. So that I may bless another student like me with the ultimate gift of education in the field they love.
