Campaign Story
Hello my name is Tara and l am in the unfortunate position of having to arrange a cremation for my Brother Tony.
I was informed that my Brother Tony died alone in his flat on December 18th, the cause of death is unknown at present, and the Coroner is investigating further, but she has advised me to start thinking about what arrangements to make, in regards to the collection and final resting place of his body.
I have been informed that l may be able to claim a government grant, to cover some of the costs towards a basic direct cremation? However this it is not guaranteed, and l won't be informed of their decision until after the funeral! 😔
I am really at a loss of how l am going to be able to manage this, especially as his death has been so totally unexpected...... A friend recommended trying this website, and although l really hate having to ask people, but any donation, you can make, no matter how small, will be a massive help to me. 🙏
Tony's life wasn't an easy one, and to die alone is the saddest way for anybody to go...... It is my wish that he can at least be remembered by having a simple ceremony, so that he may finally be laid to rest.

Coroner delay 😔
