Help my sister, Julia Almaria, fight against Tuberculous Meningitis

My sister, Julia M. Almaria, 19 years old, was diagnosed with Tuberculous Meningitis. She was admitted at St. Lukes BGC last September 1, 2020.

It all started when she felt headache before my birthday last August 7, 2020 which progressed for 2 more weeks. She got sleepless nights from its pain and started to have nausea and vomiting. She even got seizures which pushed us to have her seek medical attention. Unfortunately, majority of the hospitals were full & is prioritizing COVID19 patients. Only San Juan Medical Center accepted her only in their hallway but with limited staff & equipment, their diagnosis were inaccurate and leaving her traumatized from the hospital environment. We decided to have her transferred to a private hospital after receiving the RT-PCR COVID19 swab test which turned out to be negative.

Thankfully, St. Lukes BGC accepted her and all necessary test were done which lead her to her current diagnosis of TBM. The bacteria from her head flowed to her spine which damaged some nerves that affected her from not being able to move her legs. Despite all of her struggles, she still managed to sing worship songs for she loves singing. Our family is struggling for her medical expense for the cost is too high for us to handle. Both of our parents were unemployed and we, together with my eldest sister & younger brother, will do everything for her recovery.
