A fund for everyJUAN!

I am Charlyn B. Ciruela, living in Marikina City Philippines, Full time mom and a Freelancer offshore. I am the one posted a viral video of the Ice Buko Vendor which reach 1.1 Million views and 32K Shares on facebook.

I knew right then when I saw him I had to do something, create an awareness that if there is a way you could help him have his good sell as much as possible so that he will not have to walk 10 Km/s all day just to take home 150 PHP which is about 3$ only.

First thing in the morning after I posted it on Facebook people are rushing me to look for Tatay as they want to help him out. Got a lead from a friend that Tatay is selling Ice candy every morning in Puregold Nangka and I ask my son and my unadopted but loved daughter if we should go look for tatay and take chances. The answer is a big YES from them, without hesitation we ride a tricycle and by God's grace Tatay is there.

**Tatay goes home with a happy face**

Few days after, the video caught attention not just the online community but those who are in media as well. It was indeed my first time to experience such thing that by just posting it on Facebook I could help out someone else life.We are flooded with donations from all over the world and I have started in creating Go Fund me campaign to buy stuffs for tatay.

Surprsingly, her wife join us as we let Tatay shop for what he needs and wants. Happy Faces all the way :)

Lastly, funds from Go Fund me was just released today amounting to 23,000 PHP. We use it to cover Tatay's check up and buy out stuffs that Nanay Ima requested. More Importantly, we open him up a Cebuana Micro Savings fund for future use.

Now, this story has not just opened my eyes to the situation of my fellow Filipinos but encourage me to help more people out and create a multi-fund campaign that we could use to reach out to people who have the heart to offer a helping hand.

For now, we have couple of people whom we are wanting to help out. I am positive that we could support this campaign the way we support Tatay in his journey.
