A fresh start

We are trying to raise enough money for moving costs and hopefully a damage deposit on a new place to call home.

I am 23 and have lived in this house with my mum and 3 brothers for 17 years.

We have always taken care of our home with regular fresh painting and lots of gardening in the spring & summer months.

Over the years we have come across maintenance issues with our landlord.

After many failed attempts at negotiation for deductions in rent for work being done. We have always found ourseleves footing the bill as much as we could afford.

but when issues with the leaky roof and plumbing issues got out of control we had to deal with a collapse in the ceiling. and obviouse black mold forming behind the drywall.

a portion of our home is unusable. a whole second kitchen in our suite downstairs is in un-habitable conditions. and a master bedroom aswell. most of our posetions in those two places were ruined and had to be thrown away. 

The problems have gotten worse and are now far past our ability to deal with anymore. My mum is low-income now after the economy forced her to close the doors to her buiness several years ago. 

We have been threatend with eviction every single time we put forward a complaint to any nature regaurding the house conditions or rent deductions. 

So this is it.

I am trying to help my mum raise enough money for moving costs.

the money would help to secure a damage deposite on a future home. 

Cover the cost of a moving truck,rental Desposit & fuel.

Our story is very difficult to place into words. we have years and years of b/s that we have put up with here. for the most part we love our home and hate the thought of leaving... but would you blame us.
