A Flock of Thunderbirds

When I was 16 my dad bought me my first car - a 1977 Thunderbird.  That started my life-long love of this car.  All I owned from the time I was 16 until I was 33 were Thunderbirds.  I went 12 long years without one, but finally bought another one for my birthday last year.  I was doing fine without one until my son bought his first car in June 2013 - a 1994 Thunderbird.  That did it and I knew I had to get another one.  My 20 year old son now understands my loyalty to this wonderful car.  He told me we should start our own flock, and with a little help, that is what I would like to do for him.  We want to start out restoring his 1994 and my 1997 ourselves, go to car shows and spread the word about the Bird.  His dream is to buy and restore Thunderbirds, and I have to admit, it is something I would really love to do as well.  This car is a piece of America we want more people to appreciate just how great this car is.
