A First Home

Hi to all family and friends (maybe even those we don't know yet)!

As many of you know, Adam and I are engaged to be married. We are both living at home with Adam's Mum, but she is hoping to move somewhere smaller soon. This seems to be a good time to stand on our own two feet and get our own place.

Rent prices are almost double the price of a mortgage, so we are hoping to buy a little starter home for ourselves and our hairy friends (dogs, not human!) as they are not welcome in any rented property .

Even though we are both studying and working, we will not be able to save what we need for the deposit and legal fees for years. So here's where you come in (hopefully):

 Any Birthdays, Christmases etc, we'd love donations here instead of gifts. Also, if any of you out there need any work done, let us know and you can donate for our services here. You can also donate here even if there isn't a specific reason. Every donation is very, very gratefully received.

We are aiming to reach out target by the end of the year - how's that for a New Years Resolution?! We don't think we will reach our target, but you have to aim high, don't you? If we exceed our amount, this will be put towards our wedding.
