The Comeback Story

As majority of you know, I became homeless back in October of last year and relocated to West Virginia for work opportunities. Since this happened I have been working as much as I can to get back on my feet. Effective this week, I now have 3 jobs, mostly part time.

Over these last several months I've stayed with a couple of relatives, but they don’t have much room and I've spent most nights in a 24 hour McDonalds or in a hospital waiting room area to stay out of the cold and bad weather. I walk or utilize the bus for my transportation for work and often am not able to afford the fare, so some days I’ve walked four to five hours to get to my jobs.

I finally found an affordable apartment that is central in location to all my jobs and it includes the utilities. I have been saving as much money as I can towards my move-in, but it’s always difficult on part time work to make everything happen within a timely fashion, and I’ve just added the 3rd part-time job to my schedule. I'm asking for support and help because I don't want to miss out on this particular apartment, others in the area are more expensive and do not include the utilities.

I am in need some help to meet the required move in and deposit deadline. My total move-in cost is $1600, and I am currently short by $350. I really need assistance to meet the apartment’s final deadline as my pay cycles do not work out, or they will rent to another individual. Any donations given are appreciated during this relocation process to getting back on my feet and finally having a roof over my head.
