A Father’s Healing Journey

I am seeking for kind help to save our father’s life. Last December, 2015, our father, Manuel was rushed to the hospital of severe lower abdominal pain. A series of laboratory tests were made to determine the cause of the pain. He was later on diagnosed to have severe enlarged prostate, which resulted to stage II prostate cancer. This also resulted to him having trouble in urinating, causing frequent urinary tract infections. At first he was given oral medication but it did not relieve the pain he was experiencing. He was initially advised to undergo immediate surgery to scrape his prostate glands to help him heal. Since we do not have the financial means, a urinary catheter was inserted to temporarily ease his symptoms while we find ways to source out funds for his surgery.

However, it has been almost a year and our father hasn’t been operated on yet which is pressing much concern in the family. Lately, he has not been feeling well, his fevers are becoming frequent, and his urine has blood in it. We lost our mom passed away exactly ten years ago due to illness. Our dad, who at seventy years old is all we’ve got. We are in deepest despair.

Our economic situation is poor and cannot afford medical expenses. So any help and financial support to cover the cost of his operation will be greatly appreciated. We hope this message could spread out to the kind hearted all over the world. My family will be extremely grateful for any help you could give our dad.
