My name is Benedict Ndu Majola, I am 27 years old, single, an only child and living with my awesome mother on the South Coast of KZN.
I have done a medical certificate which allowed me to volunteer as a first aider which i did for two years without getting paid but absolutely loved helping people and appreciate the experience gained. Fortunately, because I live with my mother i do not have a lot of expenses. But as you can imagine, my mother, who’s been a cleaner at a golf club for 21 years, does not earn a salary which allows me to follow my dreams although she is my rock, she has always supported me and looked after me.
I started waitering on a temporary basis at the same club my mother works at but sadly it is very seasonal and permanent employment is not an option.
I have a dream to further my education and work internationally so I can one day give back and look after my mother as her only child. I would like to travel and see the world, come back home every now and then with amazing stories to tell of places i seen.
The course I would like to do is a an 8 week course in Cape Town at the Butler Academy in Plattekloof. The first course commences in April, the second in July and the last one of 2018 in October. So depending on how quickly I am able to raise the funds required I can enroll in the next course. The course is internationally recognized and the possibilities are endless. The academy is very hands-on and the practical experience you gain while doing the course is invaluable.
The course fees are R35 000 and accommodation on site for the 8 week course is R10 000. I have saved some money for spending, travel and food which will cover me for this period so basically just need the course and accommodation to be covered.
For more information about the Academy please see the link below:
I would really appreciate your consideration in donating any funds possible, no matter how big or small, it will all make a difference in helping me reach my goal.
Kind and Sincere Regards

It is with great pleasure I can announce that I have been assisted by a company who'd at this stage like to stay anonymous. Thank you to each and every person who have donated and helped me reach my goal. I have applied and have been accepted to enrol at. . . . .
