A DOLLAR FOR MY EDUCATION

Hello and Good Day everyone!

I am Princess Lyra,15 years old from the Philippines. I am an incoming grade 5 student at Naalad Elementary School,Naga, Cebu, Philippines.

I humbly ask from your precious hearts and a small help in raising me money to buy for a LAPTOP for my online class.

I came from a poor family.

I haven’t been like a typical student. When I realized that life was becoming too hard for us due to the increasing demand of the financial needs in school especially during this pandemic.

I am doing my best to excel in the class for me to graduate.

In these current pandemic times, my father lost his job for almost 6 months and my mother is only a plain housewife and we were in a financial crisis. I am one of the student who has been affected by this pandemic and still having an optimism in life, desire and passion to reach my dreams and to help my family through the power of education.

"Poverty is not a hindrance to success." Education is the most powerful weapon that we can use to change the world." These are some of the famous lines that instill in me to fight poverty and never give up in life with God's grace.

Your help can make a big difference! It could be the hope and light for striving students like me who want to rise up above the challenges in life. I want to graduate and look for a decent job someday to help my family and to look back on those people who helped me when I was nothing.
