The Nandikwa doll together with the support of friends across the globe are on a mission to make a difference in a girls life by empowering girls from all background to believe in themselves, to stand up and know the power that lies within and shine their light.
Many girls from impoverish background lack mentorship, stimulation and hearty felt companionship. The Nandikwa doll, takes this initiative because she believes that each and every one of us has a heart to make a difference, no matter how small.
Of importance to her is to develop a sustainable platform that will allow her to continue to work with the girls in helping them to access basic essentials and most importantly, to access quality education through the use of technology making learning fun and stimulating.
The impact of lack of education on girls in developing countries has potential dire consequences. A major obstacle, leaving them not contributing positively to the society. A huge barrier to economic development. No girl should be left behind. Empower a girl, empower a community. An educated girl is an empowered girl.
