A Desperate Measure

Hello everyone!

My name is Charise and this is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I typically don't ask for help but I am desperate.

I planned and budgeted for a trip my best friend booked to Jamaica. The person who was sharing the expense with me had to back out because of recent death in her family. I immediately began to search for a replacement and met success. However her request for time off was denied. Regrettably I don't know anyone else passport ready and able to pay. I am left holding the bag and I stand to lose the money I have paid so far.

It was suggested by a coworker that I try go fund me. "You never know who can help you if you don't ask," he said. Simply put I saw the wisdom in that. I found go get funding

I would like to raise $1500 and now have a short time to pay or lose it all. It comes down to a cup of ordinary coffee. If I receive $1 from 1500 people my goal is met.

I am willing to volunteer, donate to your favorite charity or even give a dollar to another in need. You can specify how I fulfill my end and receive proof. I am not proposing something for nothing, that is crazy and selfish. I am neither.
