Hi,

I met Purette when I started my journey in the Hospitality industry. Strand, Cape Town

Purette has a funny sense of humor, she will go out of her way to teach you the lessons she has learned in life and the business world. Most of what I know today about hospitality I have learned from this incredible and remarkable woman and human being. Since we have become friends.

Purette is a loving and caring wife & mother to two teenage boys. She is currently waiting in hospital for further tests.

Purette, after multiple visits to doctors, many medications over the course of 2 years, has eventually been diagnosed with a 5x6cm tumour in her brain. The tumour is focused on the area that defines her personality. Being a massive tumour it also influences and diminishes her taste and smell, her vision, bladder control and feeling in her legs.

Purette does not have medical aid, thus has to rely on funds and Government institutions to care for her medical attention. Her brain surgery has been classified as extremely urgent, although she is currently waiting for the MRI scan to assess the exact medical treatment needed.

She has been diagnosed 5 weeks ago since had to pay for a CT scan privately and has been waiting on an MRI scan so that the urgent operation can take place. When we have the necessary funds, it will assist Purette and her family to get the help needed for her as well as the aftercare after brain surgery.

The funds for this campaign will be used for all the medical treatment needed.

Purette is one strong woman. She has a positive attitude and just cannot wait to shave her hair off... Together we will stand tall!
